Jesse Irwin holds a Master of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management from The Walker School of Business and Technology at Webster University. He is the owner of Irwin Heating & Air in Golden Valley, Minnesota. He has been a licensed mechanical contractor in the city of Saint Louis, Missouri, and a state-licensed mechanical contractor in West Virginia. Before that, he ran a carpentry business with dad. He has worked in thousands of homes over his twenty-five-year career.

Growing up in the railroad town of DeSoto, MO, he combines a rural perspective with the experience of living in major cities, studying abroad, traveling across the United States as a singer in a band, world travel, and formal education.

He is married to the love of his life. They have two children.
